Add your startup

Pick where your users sign up. We count them ourselves with the least access that can do it, and a database is only ever read through a read-only login. UserCount is open source, so you can read every request we make.

Firebase
  1. In Google Cloud → IAM → Service accounts, create an account with only the Firebase Authentication Viewer role.
  2. Open it → Keys → Add key → JSON, and paste the file here. It can read the user total and change nothing.

Read-only access

The Firebase Authentication Viewer role cannot change anything, and we ask for the count alone, so no user record is ever returned to us.
